Customer Business Manager
Louise’s focus is on managing our client relationships from initial inquiries through to handover to our delivery and operations teams. She is the key person on the other end of the phone when you call Umbrella, who can help with your questions and inquiries about our suite of wellbeing services.
Working alongside Customer Relationship Lead Kate Milburn, the customer relationship team focuses on helping clients to make a positive difference in their organisations through identifying ways in which they can most effectively support wellbeing for themselves and their staff.
Louise enjoys helping others, and brings over 15 years of experience in programme management, client relationship management and operational support to her role at Umbrella. She has had a longstanding relationship with us through her previous role over ten years as a Programme Advisor at Te Herenga-Waka Victoria University of Wellington.

Louise’s role includes liaising with clients to establish what their wellbeing needs are and
how best to collaborate with their organisation to support the resilience and mental health of staff.
Wellbeing is key for allowing individuals to thrive and flourish and is something that has always been important to Louise in both her personal and professional life.
“I have always endeavoured to find the balance between my ‘scientist’ and ‘artist’ side, to balance enjoying being busy but also finding time to rest and reflect. I love being curious and learning new things but also being able to use my knowledge and skills in a practical way to help others and support them in a collaborative way.”
